Apprenticeship practice in the industrial world is a form of training for apprentices that combines existing theory with direct practice in the field, so that they will get more focused learning and add certain skills to participants. So it is necessary to have an internship or work practice to prepare human resources who are trained and ready to work in the industrial world. On this basis, the Jambi Provincial Manpower Office in collaboration with PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama Jambi, implemented an apprenticeship program starting from 15 July 2020 to 15 December 2020, which is for 5 months of learning.

The place for the apprenticeship is done in class and on the spot in the field, using the company's large meeting room and the factory location of PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama, which is located at Jln. Raya Jambi - Muara Bulian KM. 42 Kubu Kandang Village, Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province. The apprenticeship program activity was opened by distributing uniforms and canceling stationery to apprentices.

The internship activity was continued with In Class activities (Work Theory and Company Introduction) delivered by Mr. Machmud R. as maintenance staff and an explanation of Safety Induction (Introduction to the Occupational Safety and Health Program).

For 5 months, apprentices are given training in order to have the expertise, skills and work ethic in accordance with the demands of the available work fields. In addition to aiming to prepare a quality workforce, it is hoped that the apprenticeship process activities will be able to provide opportunities for apprentices to develop creativity, work as a team and be able to interact and have responsibility and discipline and be able to have the potential and be ready to become skilled and productive workers in the industrial world.

The educational results of this Internship activity can be useful for all parties, especially of course for the apprentices themselves, so that they are able to work according to the needs of the world of work. PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama hopes that in the future this apprenticeship activity will continue to be held until this year, considering the many benefits it generates.
